Our Petting Farm
Our 15-acre Petting Farm is a great place to spend some wholesome time with your family. It's beautiful and relaxing as well as educational. You will enjoy many fun activities and learn all about traditional farm animals and farming. After enjoying our petting farm, stop by the market for fresh produce, and refreshments!
Petting Farm Activities:
Milk real goats (10:30, 11:00, 11:30 daily demos)
Practice milking the Cow, "Daisy May"
Visit our Cat & Kitten House
Conquer "I Spy on the Farm" scavenger hunt
Build castles in the huge sand box
Discover the Learning Center
Enjoy three play systems
Explore the Garden
Pump water the old fashioned way
Stroll the Chicken Walk and look for eggs & chicks in the little hen's house
Pet the pigs
Feed the catfish in the pond
Gobble to the turkeys
Bottle feed baby goats

Pellet Feed: $.25 (quarter)

Bottle Feed: $1.00 per bottle

We no longer offer tours in the fall (including school groups, bus tours, or birthdays)
After 30+ years, we no offer group/bus tours because of limited parking, and our ever growing apple orchard, fall festival etc.
Our kittens are occasionally up for adoption.

Special Note to Our Guests:
Our policy at EFM is that our animals come first! Guests will have the opportunity to interact up close and pet various animals on the farm. We do not promote or guarantee every guest will hold animals. Our animals need extra gentle handling.
EFM Policies & FAQ:
Age: EFM is an adult supervised facility. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent/chaperone at all times.
Pets: No pets allowed on the farm for the safety of our animals. Only service animals specifically trained to aid in a disabled person are allowed.
Petting and Handling of Animals: Our policy is that the animals come first. Guests will have the opportunity to interact up close and pet various animals. We do not promote or guarantee every guest will hold animals. They are animals and need extra gentle handling.
Smoking: No smoking allowed on grounds.
Food/Lunches: You may bring your own picnic lunch to the farm. We have a pavilion area to enjoy lunch/snacks.
Credit Cards: We accept cash, check and credit cards in the market. The petting farm crank machines requires quarters to feed animals.
