School Tours

All Tours Include:

  • Knowledgeable and Friendly Staff
  • Farm Animals- sheep, pigs, calves, pony, mule, whitetail deer, kittens, donkey, turkeys, geese, ducks, chickens, and lots of goats.
  • Educational signs for animal pens
  • Educational Farm Class with a trained tour guide
  • Bounty of the Farm (plant a seed, take home produce, or choose a pumpkin)
  • Wagon Ride
  • Farm Coloring Book
  • Petting Farm Grounds- 4 Play Systems, Tricycle Riding Area, Huge Sand Box, and Fish and Duck Pond

 

Summer Tours

A fully guided field trip.

  • Vegetable Garden Tour
  • Learn to Compost. Children will be given eggs to throw at our "compost bullseye" to help teach about composing.
  • Wagon Ride
  • I spy "Wheels on the Farm"
  • Farm animals- Our guides discuss sheep, pigs, calves, kittens, chickens, and goats.
  • Farm Bounty- Harvest Produce. Each child will take a vegetable home. Vegetable selection may vary depending on what is ready to harvest. Children may pick beans, sweet corn, or tomatoes.
  • Coloring Book- Take home your farm experience.
  • Free Time- Explore the petting farm on your own time.
  • Cost is $6.00 per child. Group coordinator or teacher is free of charge. 1 adult per 5 children is free. Additional parents and chaperones are $6.00 each.

Fall Tours

Visit Farm Animals

Wagon Ride to the Pumpkin Patch. Explore our huge pumpkin patch. Each child will pick their own pumpkin.

The Measure Maze. A mini corn maze with a theme of measurements. Designed so students can experience a corn maze in a small amount of time without getting lost. Farm related number questions are posted throughout the maze. Your chaperones can guide children through the math path.

Farm Education. A class with a measure theme will be taught by our staff. Children will have hands on learning stations covering topics including: dozen, what does it mean and measure? Measuring and mixing grain for our cattle. How is produce sold?...by weight, by piece, by peck and bushel.

Enjoy all the fall decorations and fall harvest produce.

Farm Bounty. Each paid guest will pick their own pumpkin and receive an Eugster's Farm Market Coloring Book.

Cost is $6.00 per child. Group coordinator or teacher is free of charge. 1 adult per 5 children is free. Additional parents and chaperones are $6.00 each.

Early Bird Fee. Schedule your tour during the month of September and your fee is reduced to $5.00 per child and adult. Group coordinator or teacher is free of charge. 1 adult per 5 children is free. Additional parents and chaperones are $5.00 each.

Helpful Hints...

Bring a permanent marker to identify each child's pumpkin. If farm conditions are too muddy, we have pre-picked pumpkins in a grassy area to choose from.

Scheduling Tours

  • Tours are scheduled Monday thru Friday from 9:00am-2:00pm. Tours begin on the hour. Prompt arrivals are greatly appreciated.
  • Fees- $6.00 per child. Group coordinator or teacher is free of charge. 1 adult per 5 children is free. Additional parents and chaperones are $6.00 each.
  • Length of Field Trip- Plan a minimum of 1 1/2 hours and maximum of 3 hours.
  • Minimum Group/Fee- 15 guests or a $90.00 fee
  • Reservations- By telephone or email. We will need a number of children adult guests.
  • Confirmation- You will get a confirmation of your tour by mail, fax, or email.
  • Change Your Guest Number- If there is a change in guests number by five or more please contact us so we can be better prepared to accomodate your group.
  • Chaperones are required.
  • Cancellation Fee- $25.00 will be charged with less than 72 hours notice of cancellation. Groups that do not show without notice will be charged the full tour fee.
  • Inclement Weather- All cancellation fees are waived. We will be happy to assist in rescheduling your tour based on availability.
  • Picnic Facilities are available, but must be reserved in advance.
  • Restrooms and hand sanitizer is available. It is strongly encouraged that hands are washed or sanitized after visiting with animals and before eating food.
